‘Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood books rehab

In news that should surprise almost no-one, ‘Teen Mom’ star and reality train-wreck Amber Portwood has confirmed she’s heading to rehab.

“I’m going to rehab for anger control issues and depression,” Amber, 21, is quoted as saying. “I’m on medication at the moment to help me relax. I’m in a vulnerable state and I know people want a lot of answers.”

As you’ll recall Amber was briefly hospitalized on June 14 after an apparent suicide attempt. She was found almost unconscious with some sort of cord around her neck and later told paramedics she had also taken some kind of pills.

She was detained in hospital on a 72-hour psychiatric hold, then released. Now she plans to finally dispel the demons by spending some time in a California rehab, and the therapy is already in play;

“Before I go to California I’m pursuing help with a psychiatrist,” Amber explained. “But my daughter is keeping me strong.”

And Amber may not be alone – One of her co-stars, Jenelle Evans has also had some legal run-ins recently and has been an in-patient at a rehab in Malibu for several weeks.
