‘Lost’ actor, Doug Hutchison, 51, marries singer, 16
They say love is blind but in what’s good news for ‘Lost’ star, Doug Hutchison it also has no sense of time. The 51-year old actor recently got married, and his new bride has just turned 16.
Doug and his new wife, Courtney Stodden, an aspiring country star, tied the knot in Las Vegas on May 20th and while they realize the 35-year age difference might cause a stir, they don’t seem to mind.
“We’re aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial,” the couple confirm in a statement released today by their reps. “But we’re very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless.”
Under Nevada law both parties in marriage ceremony must be 18 or older. Anyone younger than that needs written consent from a parent or guardian before they’ll be granted a license.
“We are totally supportive of this marriage,” Courtney’s mom, Krista Stodden gushed at reporters. “Doug is a wonderful man and we love him. They are very much in love.”
So at least one of Courtney’s folks seems to like the old dude.
Divorced from his first wife since 2005, Doug is best known for his roles in ’Lost,’ ‘X-Files’ and ‘24,’ and he also appeared ‘CSI,’ ‘Law & Order’ and Tom Hanks’ 199 prison drama, ‘The Green Mile.’ Courtney is a former beauty pageant contestant and now has her sights set on a future in music.
The new ‘Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison’ now share a home in the Hollywood Hills with two dogs, Everette and Tuna.
We wish them both well…Especially Doug.

This guy must have been seeing her since she was 15 or younger, I wonder how the couple met. Doug Hutchison must have said a lot of good things about himself to her parents to impress them but to be honest, he’s really not a big star, he’s just a struggling D-list actor since 1988. This is just another case of a pedophile who won over his victim’s parents approval.
I agree. He’ll probably divorce her when she’s 23 and find yet another young, most likely fake blond. I’d say he’ll go for a 12 year old next time.
It seems they met when Alexis became a client of Doug’s artist management firm, ‘Dark Water’ about a year ago.
The girl is too young to get married. Doesn’t she want to enjoy her childhood first? This young lady could still be playing her barbies and/or dating young boys instead of marrying a 51 year old freak. I hope her parents were sane enough to consent this guy to marry their 16 year old daughter. This young girl is missing a lot in her life, she’s still young and immature to divulge herself into a mature relationship with a really mature guy.
The story says “she just turned 16″. That means she was under age when they first got together. That has got to be statutory rape. Those parents should be arrested for selling their daughter. I guarantee you there was money exchanged.
