Never one to be shy of publicity value Lady Gaga revisited one of her favorite modes of transport last night when she arrived in a cocoon for the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.

Sporting a wild blue fright-wig, which was curiously accented with the same color under her arms, the 25-year old wowed the crowd with renditions of ‘Born this Way’ and ‘Edge of Glory,’ the CD version of which features the late Clarence Clemons.

She even alerted her biggest fans, the ‘Little Monsters’ to prepare for a memorable show;

“Getting ready to perform on the MuchMusic Awards tomorrow,” she tweeted on Saturday. “Thank you to amazing Canadian monsters for cheering us on today in rehearsal!”

Apart from performing, Gaga also collected two awards of her own – the ‘International Video of the Year’ award for “Judas” and the ‘Ur Fave International Video’ gong for “Born This Way.”

“I love you so much little monsters and Canada!” she said as she collected the prize, dedicating it to her late Grandpa who she said was now in heaven with Clarence.

As you can see from the video the Lady was quite demurely dressed by her usual standards but the fans weren’t complaining. At one point HG reports she slid down a pole to get up close and personal with a few selected admirers, and that was a major success.
