Law & Order’s Estella Warren in rehab, faces DUI charges
In a story that’s all too familiar among those in the limelight we regret to report that actress and one-time model Estella Warren has now checked into rehab.
On May 24th the 32-year old Canadian native, best known for roles in ‘That ’70s Show’ and ‘Law & Order’ allegedly hit three parked cars with her Toyota Prius, then drove away. Later found by Police, Estella reportedly kicked one of the officers while being arrested and even tried to escape from the police station while being booked for DUI.
Now safely housed in a rehab facility Warren is required to wear a SCRAM bracelet that can detect alcohol and her lawyer says she’s determined to make things right.
“She wants to prove she isn’t drinking,” Darren Kavinoky told reporters. “She’s committed to making the situation right and moving on. She’s more than accepting. She’s embracing the personal opportunities that came from this.”
Estella was supposed to face a Judge on Friday to enter a plea but she failed to appear. The court date has now been reset for July 15, during which time Kavinoky is hoping he and the prosecutors can work something out.
With a previous DUI conviction already on file from 2007 Warren now faces charges of DUI, hit-and-run, battery on a police officer and resisting. She could serve six months to two years in jail if convicted.

I am glad that she is willing to turn herself in to rehab. driving under the influence is really not a good thing to do. She should be responsible for her actions because driving while drunk can put other people’s lives and the driver’s life included in danger. She should not drive because she wants too, she should consider other people’s lives too.
What with all these DUIs, rehabs, addictions, brawls, disorderly conduct, etc news that I kept reading on papers and watching on TV about celebrities all about? I’m so tired f hearing and reading the same issues about them over and over again. Isn’t there anything else in the world that is worth writing and talking about anymore? They’re only making it worse.
I fell in love with her in the movie Planet of the Apes, she’s so beautiful and yummy back then. I don’t know what happened to her, with her life, to make her give in and get into drugs and alcohol. Actors should have a back up plan, being famous now doesn’t mean that it’s going to last forever. A good education is an advantage, it really helps.
I don’t think people would want to read about global warming and the discovery of a planet that will be inhabitable by humans, Chipmunk. Only educated and concerned people will read about serious stuff like that. But I agree with you, it’s such a waste of time to be reading and hearing about the same s**t over and over again.
Estella Warren’s house in Beverly Hills is for sale. I saw the house this weekend and thought it was really cool (all people were talking about was her DUI and having to sell the house FAST!). I found this video on YouTube selling the house, you can see it here:
