Joss Stone was target of murder plot, say UK police
In what may be an unpleasant omen for Lady Gaga, British police report that soul singer Joss Stone was the target of a robbery / murder plot yesterday.
Police say neighbors reported a suspicious vehicle near 24-year old Joss’s home in Devon in the south-west of England early yesterday morning. Two men in their 30‘s were interviewed on the scene and police found swords, a rope and a body bag in their car.
“Police attended an address in Cullompton after alert residents notified officers of a suspicious vehicle,” a Police spokesman confirms. “Officers attended the area and subsequently arrested the occupants of a red Fiat Punto.”
The suspects were also carrying maps and photos of the Grammy winner’s home, clearly intended to help find their target.
With her first four albums having sold over 11-million copies, Joss now ranks as the fifth richest artist in Britain under 30-years old, enjoying a net worth in the region of $14-million. She’s also a close friend of Prince William and was a guest at his wedding, which makes her a pretty ripe target.
Lady Gaga might want to recheck her locks.

This is really scary! I can not believe someone would do that to Joss Stone! I hope she is fine and being protected by the police, Joss is really a catch, because she sold millions of records since her debut, that is why she should be hiring bodyguards just like other pop superstars do. I really like her back in the day, although she was not really big in my country, I am still familiar with her songs.
OMG! That was scary! No one is safe nowadays anymore. Even if these celebrities have big houses complete with a state-of-art security, burglars can still get inside their houses. The scary part is when they’re outside and then out of nowhere someone will just ambush her. I guess that’s the price of fame also.
Serves her right! She’s so popular and rich already, she should make sure that her security is tight wherever she may go. She can afford to hire bodyguards, so why not get them? When will these celebrities ever learn, they can’t do things just like what normal, average people do, they don’t have that luxury. With fame and money comes great sacrifices especially when it comes to their personal lives.
