In a roundtable with Hollywood Reporter, Emmy-nominated comedy actresses talk about their first starts in the comedic world.

Amy Poehler always knew wanted to be an actress but didn’t know she was funny until college when she happened to join an improv group. ”I got the sense of how you can do comedy,” said the funnywoman.

Jenna Fischer was pushed into comedy because she wasn’t cast in the serious plays in school.
