Baseball Hero Mark Grace arrested, DUI
Known as one of the good guys of baseball, former Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Mark Grace, 46, didn’t exactly live up to his rep this past Memorial Day.
AZcentral obtained the police report. Grace was arrested in Scottsdale on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Around 1AM on May 30th, police saw him make a wide right turn and weaving in his lane.
When stopped, he was found without his driver’s license and admitted to knocking back a few drinks earlier.
Grace has been serving as an announcer to the Arizona Diamondbacks. He currently lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona with his sons Jackson Gene and Preston Torre.
