Just Kidding (again): Cheryl Cole officially kicked off X-Factor

Looks like the story that keeps on giving has finally ended.

In the is she a judge or isn’t she drama, Fox has released an official statement saying that Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is definitely not.

Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of The X Factor. Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal. Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. Steve Jones will act as sole host of The X Factor.

Previously Cheryl Cole was reportedly kicked off the upcoming American edition of X-Factor. Mostly because during auditions, none of the contestants could understand her accent (and allegedly she didn’t get along with other judge Paula Abdul).

But then reports surfaced, Simon Cowell was steaming mad about that decision and was doing everything in his power to get her back on the show.
