Eva Mendes slams marriage; complains it’s unsexy

Though Eva Mendes has been attached to her current beau filmmaker George Augusto since 2002, it doesn’t look like the 37-year old actress will be tying the know anytime soon. Appearing on the Chelsea Lately show, Mendes explained her anti-marriage stance:

…it’s not personal, it’s just the institution… Why? If you love someone and you have a spiritual union, I just personally don’t think [I need] a piece of paper because society tells me [is necessary].

Mendes has previously stated, in an interview with Marie Claire, she didn’t want any children either. But all is not lost with the movie star. She’s all about the long-term relationships.

I actually think it’s really sexy to be with someone in your fifties and sixties and be like, ‘That’s my boyfriend.’ I think husband and wife is just … very unsexy.
