Grease and Taxi Driver Star Taken Off Life Support, Dies
Jeff Conway, the troubled but popular 80s actor, slipped into a coma last week after being found unconscious on May 11, 2011. He never recovered. Conway’s manager told PEOPLE: “Jeff was taken off life-support [Thursday] afternoon … His family chose to take him off of life-support based on advice from physicians. They thought for several days that the situation was hopeless.”
According to Dr. Drew Pinsky, Conway died of pneumonia, not from drug overdose as it had been presumed for days. But the side effects of years of drug use most likely contributed to him not being able to recognize his symptoms earlier.
Kids, THIS is why you don’t do drugs. Why do celebrities get into these messes all the time?!?
SERIOUSLY. I guess it can be somewhat justified by the intensity of their careers and having to fit in. But it’s a vicious cycle, when in the world did this drugs and rock and roll start? It must’ve originated from somewhere. Someone should study this.
Its not just celebrities. Most people have someone in their family either close or distantly related that battles the same demons. I concur kids should see this as a warning, but these days many are affected by drug addiction. Lets not forget athletes who are no “junkies” but still using illeagle drugs they are no different they still are
