Sarah Palin’s eldest son marries high school sweetheart
(HMG Celebrity News) – Sarah Palin’s eldest son, Track, has wed his high school sweetheart. According to People Magazine the 22-year-old veteran tied the knot with Britta Hanson, 21, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. “Our families couldn’t be happier!” the Hansons and Palins tell the magazine in a joint statement. “These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.”
The newlyweds reportedly began dating in high school and continued their relationship when Track was stationed overseas as an active member of the U.S. Army in 2008.
Track, currently an Army Reservist, spent a year deployed in Iraq and has plans to study at the University of Alaska after the commercial fishing season. Britta is a nursing student, also at the University of Alaska.
A bigger bash to accommodate extended family and out-of-town guests will be held this winter at Alaska’s Alyeska Ski Resort.
