Hugh Grant Got Huge Offer to Replace Charlie Sheen on ‘Two And A Half Men’
(HMG Celebrity News) – With just a week before CBS presents its new 2011-12 program line-up to advertisers in New York, the network has yet to announce its plans for ‘Two And A Half Men,’ but behind the scenes there have been attempts to keep the show alive. There have been all kinds of rumors about who might replace Charlie Sheen on the money-spinning No.1 comedy. In my opinion someone like Rob Lowe who reportedly was once asked but turned it down, could probably pull it off. But the thing is, I think most of the really well known names tossed out to replace Charlie, know it’s not worth the risk to their reputation unless perhaps you’re on a very bad streak of late? Deadline Hollywood reports, Hugh Grant, who hasn’t appeared on the big screen since the panned 2009 comedy “Did You Hear About The Morgans?,” was “deep into negotiations” to replace Sheen on the hit CBS sitcom, with an offer of over $1 million an episode on the table. Grant reportedly pulled out at the last minute due to “creative differences.”
