Paula Abdul Joins Simon Cowell as 4th ‘X Factor’ Judge

(HMG Celebrity News) – Paula Abdul just closed her deal to be the fourth judge on Fox’s The X Factor after a rumored long negotiation.  The four judges, Abdul, L.A. Reid, Cheryl Cole, and Simon Cowell will gather near downtown Los Angeles for the first taping of auditions today.  Abdul’s signing,  reunites her with fellow American Idol frenemy judge, Simon Cowell, who left Idol last May to launch The X Factor stateside. Bringing some English influence to the American version of the singing talent show, former Pussycat Doll/Dancing star Nicole Scherzinger and British TV presenter Steve Jones have been named as hosts of The X Factor, to premiere this fall.
