Words so many have waited to here: “Osama bin Laden is dead”

(HMG Celebrity News) – In the video above Osama Bin Laden was announced dead last night on Sunday, May 1, 2011 in a special address by President Barack Obama. Bin Laden was killed in a ground operation outside Islamabad based on US intelligence, which first emerged last August. On Sunday, US forces said to be from the elite Navy Seal Team Six undertook the operation in Abbottabad, 62 miles north-east of Islamabad. Not surprisingly to many the 54-year-old bin Laden was found living within minutes of a Pakistan elite military academy that is the equivalent of West Point. President Obama said after “a firefight”, US forces took possession of the body and performed a burial at sea handled in accordance with Islamic custom for a speedy burial, President Obama said it would have been difficult to find a country willing to accept the remains otherwise. Three adult males were also killed in the raid, including one of bin Laden’s sons, whom officials did not name yet. One woman was also killed when she was used as a shield by a male combatant, and two other women were injured. “No Americans were harmed” in the action that took down bin Laden, the president said, adding he’d personally ordered the operation be carried out. The Saudi-born terrorist leader plotted and funded the Sept. 11 attacks that struck the United States nearly 10 years ago, in which nearly 3,000 people died. I am not generally one to rejoice in someones death, but I feel a great sense of relief that justice has been finally served on this hateful man has been taken out.
