Chuck Lorre Retooling ‘Two and a Half Men’ Reboot Without Charlie Sheen
(HMG Celebrity News) – I think this is probably a bad idea if it ever sees the light of day, but what do you think?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre is working on a reboot without Charlie Sheen, with the introduction of a new, yet-to-be-cast character. Sheen, who was fired from the show in March, is suing Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million, but has been talking onstage about his desire to return during his one-man “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option” comedy tour. But that is not apparently going to happen.
In Lorre’s new plan Jon Cryer reportedly has a bigger role in the reboot of the popular CBS sitcom and has been presented with the plan. Lorre has also presented the idea to a few other Hollywood players, and the network and studio are aware of his intention to overhaul the series.
According to THR, the network has yet to schedule the return of ‘Two and a Half Men,’ but reports indicate CBS could be eying a mid-season launch. They go on to say is some of the candidates are Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven and Bob Saget. According to TMZ, despite the push, there’s still a 50/50 chance “Two and a Half Men” will not come back for a 9th season.

OMG!
Please don’t put Bob Saget back on TV!
Nooo!!!
