Justin Bieber to Team with Mark Wahlberg For Basketball Movie

(HMG Celebrity News) – Paramount studios is in negotiations with Mark Walhberg and Justin Bieber for an untitled drama that will revolve around street basketball, according to the The Hollywood Reporter.

Wahlberg who demonstrated his athletic prowess in The Fighter, is also a basketball player who regularly has his friends over for some hoops action.

Wahlberg who started his career as rapper Marky Mark, took notice of Bieber playing ball in February at a celebrity game held during NBA All-Star Game weekend in which the young singer was named the MVP. Wahlberg who earned an Oscar nomination as one of its producers of the Fighter, subsequently pitched an idea to Paramount executives, who are talking it through in more detail with Bieber’s camp, a source told THR.  Wahlberg on Tuesday told New York Magazine’s Vulture that: “We’re putting it together. … We’re doing it at Paramount. They may announce it fairly soon” he said.
