Ryan Phillippe tired of paparazzi culture, but not quitting acting
(HMG Celebrity News) – Ryan Phillippe sounds like a man ready to make to make some changes in his life.
Phillippe, who is busying promoting his latest film, ‘The Bang Bang Club,’ in which he plays a photojournalist in the upcoming apartheid drama, said that he’s planning on moving from his LA home to New York, and he’s already been looking at apartments in the trendy SoHo area.
According to Page Six, Ryan who was once married to Reese Witherspoon says his quiet personality is the reason he can no longer handle the pressure of the paparazzi world of fame and he’s tired of being tabloid fodder.
“I’m a good guy,” he said. “I’m not that guy you read about.”
“I think I’m going to end my acting career,” he told Page Six. “I’m so introverted. I’m ready to be behind the scenes. I’m 36, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years.”
An Access Hollywood source says Ryan is definitely looking to expand his producing and directing endeavors, but will also continue to take on acting roles he likes.
