Paul Reiser’s Show Canceled After Two Episodes

(HMG Celebrity News) – The new sitcom ‘The Paul Reiser Show’ from ‘Mad About You’ star Paul Reiser, has been canceled by NBC after just two episodes. The 3.3 million in the coveted 18-49 year old demographic who watched the first episode were the fewest ever for an NBC in-season comedy premiere. A million fewer people tuned in for episode number two. Reiser said during NBC-Universal’s summer press day last week that they rushed the show to air: “This was shortest ramp up in the history of television. Literally 20 days ago [NBC] said, ‘We’re putting you up,’ and we said, ‘OK, great,’ ” he told The Hollywood Reporter.  It will be replaced by reruns of The Office.
