Jeff Bridges to Record Debut Country Album With T Bone Burnett
(HMG Celebrity News) – Following the same path as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges is going from on-screen country crooner to real-life recording artist. The 61-year-old actor, who won a best actor Academy Award for playing former down-and-out country music legend Bad Blake, in the 2009 film Crazy Heart, has signed a recording deal with EMI’s Blue Note Records, Showbiz411 reports. The album is due late summer and Jeff has chosen to record his major-label debut album with Crazy Heart collaborator T-Bone Burnett as producer. Burnett, is a multiple Grammy-Award winning songwriter, musician, and producer. Ryan Bingham, who penned two tracks for that movie — including the Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning, ‘The Weary Kind’ — is also writing for, as well as co-producing, this new project.
