Taylor Swift and ‘Tron’ star, Garrett Hedlund an item?

HMG Celebrity News] – After her much-hyped romance with Jake Gyllenhaal ended over the holidays, country singer Taylor Swift is already dating a new guy – ‘Tron: Legacy’ star, Garrett Hedlund. And he seems rather normal.

Swift, 21, split with Jake in January and was spied at an LA Kings game with ‘Glee’ star Chord Overstreet the next month. This caused rumors they might be an item but it never gelled.

Taylor reportedly made contact with Garrett last month and the two have since been conversing by email. And when Taylor suggested the two got together her 26-year old pen-pal apparently loved the idea.

“She’s spent time getting to know Garrett,” an insider tells Us. “He’s cute – and he’s into country music. She likes the fact he’s a normal guy.”

The two met for dinner in Houston at 8pm on April 1st. Taylor’s there as part of her ‘Speak Now’ tour, while Garrett was in town recording a country album. And he was back at his hotel – alone – by 12.30am.

The whole story is rather skinny at present but if they find a connection you can be sure Taylor’s reps will let us know all about it. As often as possible.
