Justin Bieber gives Mom surprise birthday roast

[HMG Celebrity News] – Justin Bieber is known for extravagant stage shows but his recent gig in Berlin included one visual effect even he didn’t plan on – He set his Mom’s hair on fire.

During the show at the ‘O2 World Arena’ in Berlin, Germany last Saturday Justin called for his mom to join him on stage;

“Mum, where are you?” he inquired, in front of the sold-out crowd. Pattie then emerged from backstage and was clearly stunned by the gift.

“This is for you, and I need everyone to sing Happy Birthday.” said the singer.

The crowd gladly obliged, but as Pattie blew out her candles there was a brief flash of fire as one of them caught her hair. But Justin reached over and easily squashed the tiny flame with his hand.

Never one to miss a chance of publicity, Justin then reported the flare up on Twitter;

“Sick show in Berlin. Brought @studiomama on stage to sing Happy Birthday but she set her hair on fire with the candles. LOL.” he wrote. “I saved her. Don’t worry it wasn’t bad.”

Pattie, who is also his manager, turned 35 during Justin’s current European extravaganza, but no damage was done – The tour will continue in Madrid, then visit Barcelona, Zurich and Milan later this week.

After that, Justin is booked for a concert in Israel, followed by Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia later this month.

And he may come home with a new hobby – While in Spain Justin donned a Barcelona FC shirt for a game of soccer with some local teens. He even scored a goal. He then hit McDonalds for a burger and soda to celebrate his new skills.

The way this story’s being reported you’d think the poor woman was engulfed in unquenchable flames and roasted beyond all recognition. Not quite. But it proves even teenage superstars can be useful sometimes. Watch the video and let’s hear what you think of his heroic act…
