Shakira Confirms Romance With Soccer Star Gerard Pique

(HMG Celebrity News) – After splitting from her boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rua, back in January, the couple insisted they “view this period of separation as temporary.”  But in the meantime Shakira has been linked romantically to Fc Barcelona soccer star Gerard Pique, after photographs of the pair emerged holding hands last summer and then on the cover of Colombian magazine Caras showing the singer in what looks like a very romantic kiss with her rumored new lover.  Both have previously denied rumors of a romance. Yesterday Shakira tweeted a photo featuring rumored boyfriend Gerard Pique holding her in his arms above. Along with the picture, Shakira wrote, “Les presento a mi sol…” which translates to, “I present my sun to you.”
