Reese Witherspoon marries, Scarlett Johansson & Sean Penn cause talk

[HMG Celebrity News] – After weeks of preparation Reese Witherspoon finally married her new love, Jim Toth on Saturday, watched by 120 guests including Renee Zellweger, Robert Downey Jr. and Tobey Maguire. But Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson nearly stole all their thunder.

Wearing a custom-designed gown, 35-year old Reese married talent agent Jim, 40, in a stylish 20-minute ceremony, with her two children, Ava, aged 11 and 7-year old Deacon lending a hand.

Jim and the children arrived at the altar constructed in the front yard of the $6-million ranch to the strains of ‘The Tennessee Waltz.’ Reese followed to the traditional accompaniment of ‘Here Comes the Bride.’

The service was then conducted by Reverend Jimmy Bartz, who leads a church in Santa Monica where the couple attend Sunday worship.

Reese and Ryan Phillippe divorced back back in 2007 after a seven-year marriage, but friends say she and Jim are a perfect match;

“He’s a very confident guy who takes care of her.,” says one. “Reese really wants to be married and have that security. They feel like they’ve hit the jackpot.”

But it was Scarlett’s choice of companion that really made people talk;

“Scarlett is Jim’s client, but no-one knew she would turn up with Sean,” a friend of Scarlett’s tells PopEater. “That’s a huge statement – it announces they’re serious.”

Sean, 50, was first spied with Scarlett at a party earlier this year in LA. They shared dinner together, with her legs draped over his lap. They also flew to Mexico on a day trip earlier this month.

Their  reps are keeping remarkably quiet about the alleged lovers plans but rumors say they’re due  to visit  Haiti together sometime in the Spring. Insiders also say the appearance at Reese’s event was their declaration to Hollywood that this thing is now on;

“Scarlett is in love with Sean,” a friend of Johansson’s confirms. “She normally tries to hide from public attention but with Sean she doesn’t care.”

So Reese and Jim are now unwrapping gifts and picking rice out of curious places, and it looks like Sean and Scarlett may have similar plans. Do you think Reese will be happy? And should Scarlett marry Sean, or maybe reconsider?
