Despite Rage Hype Chris Brown Still Set to Appear on “Dancing With the Stars” Next Week

(HMG Celebrity News) – Chris Brown’s alleged “violent outburst” is all the ‘rage,’ after co-anchor Robin Roberts kept pressing him about his domestic abuse incident with Rihanna  on ABC’s Good Morning America yesterday.  Brown was on the show promoting his latest album “F.A.M.E.” (the title stands, he says, for “Forgiving All My Enemies”) which came out Tuesday and has already garnered three hit singles and largely positive reviews. Roberts had interviewed Brown back in 2009 after his felony assault arrest. Sources have told TMZ that Roberts asked Chris before going live if she could ask “a few questions” about the 2009 assault, which the ‘Look At Me Now’ singer supposedly approved. Roberts has insisted that she did NOT try and set Chris up, and is said to have told people working at the show: “I’m pulling for the guy.” However while Brown kept trying to bring the discussion back to the new CD, Roberts continued to bore in.

“This album is what I want them to talk about and not what happened two years ago,” he said.

Brown was scheduled to perform another song after a commercial break but instead reportedly walked off and had a meltdown in his dressing room, including yelling at a producer, screaming obscenities, and throwing a chair into a window, sending shards of glass raining onto the busy intersection of 43d and Broadway in New York.

Brown later tweeted: “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t”

Brown is still on probation for the Rihanna assault, but ABC said Tuesday that it did not plan to press criminal charges against the singer. Brown is also slated to appear on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” next week, so I think everyone is happy to let bygones be bygones.
