Victoria Jackson Defends ‘Glee’ Comments (VIDEO)

(HMG Celebrity News) – I liked former “Saturday Night Live” star Victoria Jackson better when she ‘pretended’ to be a ditzy blonde.  Now a tea party activist and ultra right wing columnist, she made some homophobic comments about an episode of Glee where two of the gay characters kissed in her newest column for WorldNetDaily. In the  recent episode Original Song, Criss’ Blaine Anderson confessed his feelings for Kurt Hummel, played by Colfer, and the kiss came after months of speculation on whether the pair, who sing alongside each other in the Dalton Academy Warblers, would become romantically involved.

Jackson wrote ,  “Did you see “Glee” this week? Sickening! And, besides shoving the gay thing down our throats, they made a mockery of Christians – again! I wonder what their agenda is? Hey, producers of “Glee” – what’s your agenda? One-way tolerance?”

Perhaps one-way tolerance is better than zero-tolerance?

Appearing on Headline News’ “Showbiz Tonight” last night, Jackson defended her statements and stuck to her interpretation of the Bible:

“Well, it doesn’t matter what I think,” Jackson said. “What matters is what the Bible says. And I’m really concerned about our country because immorality is, well, let’s see: secular humanism rules the airwaves, and it’s stealing the innocence away from this whole generation of children. My daughter is a teenager and I cant find any show that she can watch.”

Jackson was then pressed on whether she was homophobic:

“That’s a cute little buzzword of the liberal agenda,” Jackson smirked. “Basically, the bible says that homosexuality is a sin. The reason the Bible tells us what is a sin is to point us to the savior and show us we need one, Jesus Christ,” she said. “And I’ve noticed that the liberal agenda is anti-Christ – I mean, anti-Jesus.”

Jackson also managed to go after liberals, gays, Muslims and teenage sex in one fell swoop while criticizing the TV networks saying:

“They should have a celibacy campaign and tell kids that 50% of teenagers now have this new STD from oral sex, that’s what they should try to be doing instead of trying to make kids gay,” the former actress continued. “I just want to know why the liberals are pro-muslim and pro-gays. Muslims kill gays. That’s what’s confusing to me. And the only thing I can come up with is the Mulims hate God and the gays hate his word.
