Charlie Sheen Seems to be Winning After All?

(HMG Celebrity News) – I have been of the opinion that the only thing that Charlie Sheen was winning was an eventual rehab stay or a straight jacket, when he went on his media campaign rant after he was fired earlier this month, by CBS and Warner Bros.  But Charlie  now has three million followers on Twitter, which is some sort of record and his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour is growing, with a dozen more dates added to his live show, now set to continue through May 3.  if he doesn’t somehow self-implode, Charlie will perform on 21 dates, and each show will last 1 hour and 15 minutes. TMZ says he’ll get 85% of the profits, with Live Nation getting the remaining 15%.  Charlie’s cut is projected to average between $250,000 – $275,000 for each show,  and he’ll make additional money for after-parties and merchandising with 200,000 pieces of merchandise already ordered for the show.  That all comes to $7 million in a month, according to TMZ. Also according to TMZ, Charlie met with Mark Darnell, who is president of FOX broadcasting network, which is one of the four major networks in the United States this past Thursday. During the hour long meeting Charlie and executives for the network pitched different ideas for shows including a late-night series. Conan O’Brien was also in talks with FOX after his Tonight Show fiasco. If this actually comes together, we could possibly be looking at Charlie taking on Conan O’Brien and other late-night giants, depending on what they come up with.  Meanwhile according to RadarOnline, CBS wants Charlie back on its Two and a Half Men, and they want him back now. I find this one real hard to believe but according to their sources CBS President and CEO Les Moonves wants a solution that brings Sheen back to the show and has been speaking directly with top execs at Warner Bros. Television — the company that produces Men and also fired Sheen. Moonves has also supposedly spoken directly to ‘Men’ co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre, who has been the target of Sheen’s “violent hatred.” On the one hand I still doubt whether Charlie is gonna make it through the “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour but if he does successfully those greedy network execs are gonna be chomping at the bit to make some money with him.
