Why do people want to see Charlie Sheen’s live show?

(HMG Celebrity News) – Except for some sad conclusions about my fellow man, I really I just don’t understand why people would spend their hard earn money to listen to a raving lunatic babble.   But what the people want, they will surely get. After the previously announced dates — April 2 in Detroit and April 3 in Chicago — sold out in minutes, according to reports, Charlie Sheen has announced new Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option tour dates:

April 5 – Playhouse Square – Cleveland
April 6 – Palace Theatre – Columbus, Ohio
April 8 – Radio City Music Hall – New York
April 9 – Oakdale Theater – Wallingford, Conn.
April 12 – Agganis Arena – Boston

On the plus side. Charlie is donating $1 from every ticket to the Red Cross to help earthquake relief efforts, he says on his website (where T-shirts are now for sale).  Maybe Charlie should make a run at president for 2012, if he doesn’t meltdown any time soon?
