“Smurfs” Movie Trailer is Out!

(HMG Celebrity News) – Oh the days when cartoon Saturday was worth getting up for. The first trailer released on March 10 for the live-action/animated hybrid 3D film ‘The Smurfs’, show the little blue folk finding themselves in trouble in the Big Apple, with a glimpse of Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Hank Azaria and the first words from Katy Perry as the voice of Smurfette. The voice cast of The Smurfs features Jonathan Winters (Papa Smurf), Anthon Yelchin (Clumsy Smurf), George Lopez (Grouchy Smurf), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf), Fred Armisen (Brainy Smurf), and Katy Perry as the a fore mentioned (Smurfette).The story follows the evil wizard Gargamel (played by Azaria), who has chased the little blue Smurfs out of their magical world and sent them falling down to Earth. The tiny blue beings must find a way back from the middle of New York’s Central Park, to their home before Gargamel nabs them. The Columbia Pictures family comedy directed by Raja Gosnell, is set to be released across the US and UK in 2D & 3D Aug. 3.
