Charlie Sheen Announces Live Theatre Show While Police Storm His Mansion

Published on March 11, 2011 at 8:49 AM

(HMG Celebrity News) – Kind of have pictured writing the second part of this headline sooner or later but it’s probably not going to amount to much in this case.  Various media outlets are reporting that members of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) were searching Charlie Sheen’s home last night for guns that might be in violation of a temporary restraining order that was obtained last week by his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller.  Brooke was recently granted the restraining order against Charlie after he allegedly threatened to decapitate her and send her head in a box to her mother.

TMZ claims this wasn’t just some random search though as police were responding to a call which stated that Sheen, a registered gun owner, had threatened to harm himself with a gun.   Mark Gross, a divorce attorney for Sheen, said the police took an antique gun and bullets into custody.

Despite the three-hour raid, Charlie, 45, appeared unconcerned and took to his Twitter account to reassure fans and praise the officers.

In a post which has now been deleted, he said: “All good here on homefront. All reports are false. I’ll explain more very soon.”

After police left, Charlie – who reportedly ate dinner in his backyard while the search took place – added: “The LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! They can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!! (sic)”

Prior to the raid Charlie and Brooke have come to a custody agreement over their twin sons, Bob and Max.  A joint statement released by their lawyers said: “Brooke and Charlie have reached an agreement that resolves their differences. For the benefit of the children, the terms of their agreement will not be disclosed. They ask the public for privacy on this matter.”

Staying manically busy Sheen also announced a tour on Twitter Thursday night,  taking his rants on the road. The troubled actor will star in “Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth” at Detroit’s Fox Theatre April 2.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. and cost between $45 and $81.

The Detroit show is the first of only two scheduled stops on the tour so far. The other being at The Chicago Theatre.
