Amanda Seyfried dishes on Ryan Phillipe, Dominic Cooper romances
[HMG Celebrity News] – Remember how we told you Amanda Seyfried was spied schmoozing Ryan Phillipe? Well, it gets better. Despite co-starring with Lindsay Lohan in ‘Mean Girls’ her career is now thriving, and in a gossipy new Elle interview she lifts the lid on Ryan and more.
The Elle folks started by asking the 25-year old about the rumors of romance between her and Phillipe, and how Ryan didn’t seem committed – as he was already dating someone else;
“Um, yeah. I’ve been ‘seen’ with him.” came the response. “I was foolishly thinking the two of them were done and Dominic [Cooper] and I were involved. But we weren’t as involved as I thought, so I got my heart broken pretty hard.”
She and Ryan then got together and romance was suspected. When Amanda found out he was still tied to the other woman she obliquely accused him of cheating….while she was dating Alexander Skarsgard; which at least she admits;
“Yeah, we dated,” Amanda accepts. “He’s funny, but I was too involved with Dominic.”
She met Ryan while making ‘Mamma Mia’ in 2009 and things got romantic early last year. In May she announced their connection was “on a break,” but they were spied together again at a Halloween party thrown by Kate Hudson. The rematch lasted three months but it’s now done.
“It took a long time for us to break up again,” Amanda recalls. “After that, it’s really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard.”
Currently seen on HBO’s Mormon-themed drama, ‘Big Love’ Amanda lists Justin Timberlake among her best on-screen kissers, but with which actor would she most like a movie romance…or more?
“I’d really love to make out with Michael Fassbender,” she gushes. “Put me in a movie with that guy. I’m serious. Wow!”
And loving someone on film is, she tells us; “It’s one of the easiest things in the world,” she confirms. “You’re in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It’s easy for things to get carried away.”
And in one telling question Amanda reveals her own on-screen icon – Meryl Streep.
“Meryl makes herself very accessible; almost too accessible,” says Amanda. “That’s what I do. My thing about meeting people is to desensitize them, kind of shock them a bit to make myself accessible.”
And if you saw the Elle photos you’d know she’s had practice. If you’re a fan of Amanda or Ryan, let’s hear your opinion on these terse revelations…
