Jewelry Store Shamelessly Sells Surveillance Video of Lindsay Lohan’s Alleged Necklace Theft to ET

(HMG Celebrity News) – When I read this weekend via TMZ that Lindsay Lohan had turned down a prosecutors plea bargain deal, because it included around 3 months of jail time I thought she was in denial. Normally someone with her record along with the taped evidence would spell near certain doom but the rules of course seem to be different for celebrities.  And now it looks like LiLo was pretty smart (go figure) to go to trial, even though her insistence that the owner loaned her the jewelry is pretty thin. Because in an unbelievable greedy move Kamofie & Co., the jewelry store that claims LiLo snatched a necklace from them, has sold the video surveillance tape for a quick buck. Radar reports they allegedly sold the surveillance footage of her for $35,000. Radar’s sources say that Kamofie & Co.’s owner whored it out to a media broker who sold it in the US as well as an overseas media outlet.  It turns out Entertainment Tonight licensed rights to the video, and is going to play it on Monday. They’ve already released a few teaser stills, where Lindsay is seen trying on stuff at the jewelry store.  I really would have thought ET might show better judgment. But it’s the jewelry company that pretty much sabotaged the case and their credibility by selling the key evidence.
