Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn Jet Down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico For Dinner

(HMG Celebrity News) – Instead of laying low after being photographed having lunch together last week, Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn, jetted off to Mexico for a whirlwind trip on Tuesday, PEOPLE reported. The odd twosome were seen sharing an intimate lunch earlier this week (photo below) in at Los Angeles Cuban restaurant, Versailles. At the lunch, Johansson was photographed with her foot resting on Penn’s lap. The two were first seen together in early February when they were seen flirting all night, at a party celebrating ‘Black Swan.’ Johansson’s rep tried to put the initial romance rumors down saying the two were nothing more than friends. “Scarlett and Sean are not dating — they have been friends for years,” her rep said. “Nothing more, nothing less. But they sure seem to be close friends now! Johansson and Penn took a short trip on a private jet from Van Nuys airport Tuesday morning and were spotted enjoying a lobster dinner Tuesday night in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pair returned to Los Angeles early Wednesday morning where Johansson is filming ‘We Bought a Zoo’ with Matt Damon.
