Charlie Sheen threatens $320m lawsuit against CBS
[HMG Celebrity News] – As you might just have heard Charlie Sheen and CBS are in the midst of a war. CBS closed ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the rest of the season, but Charlie is set to strike back with a $320-million lawsuit for ‘mental anguish.’
The suits at the network closed down the show after the 45-year old actor made scathing remarks about them and ‘Men’s creator Chuck Lorre last week on the ‘Alex Jones Show.’ And Charlie’s legal team could file their reaction as soon as today.
The suit is expected to demand full payment for Sheen’s involvement in the ninth season – which has not even been filmed yet – but the major target of both his litigation and anger is Chuck Lorre.
“All Sheen has right now is time and money to destroy that little f- -k,” one source told the Post. “He’s always shown up on time and ready to work. What goes on in his own time has always been his own business.”
But CBS is not backing down. At a meeting on Friday at the LA studios where ‘Men’ is filmed they made their view of Charlie quite clear;
“The top people in security were called together Friday night and told: Charlie Sheen is officially banned,” the source confirmed. “If he and his driver show up – as Charlie’s said they would – they’re to be turned away.”
Charlie’s reaction was typically unconcerned;
“Doesn’t matter too much, because after Wednesday they’ll have to rename Warner Bros. ‘Charlie’s Bros,” he told reporters. “I’ll fire those clowns and bring in my own team.”
It’s been estimated CBS makes around $155-million a season from ‘Men,’ plus around $600-million more from the show in syndication. And until they turned off the lights Charlie was TV’s highest-paid actor, banking $2 million an episode. So this could be quite a battle– both sides have a lot at stake and a lot of money with which to protect it.
In round one of the fight, Charlie sat down for a 1-on-1 interview with ABC’s ’20/20′ at his Beverly Hills home on Saturday, and he played some serious defense over stories of his previous drug use.
“I’m on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen,” he says boldly. “It’s not available because if you try it once you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.”
Charlie took a drug test during the chat, and the results showed he was totally clean. He couldn’t remember the last time he did narcotics but it was ‘about six weeks or a month ago.’ Now he’s just high on vengeance and adrenalin;
“I’ve one speed, I’ve one gear, go!” Sheen tells the network. “There’s some wrongs to be righted, and people need to hear my side of it.”
The interview will be teased on ‘Good Morning America’ today and tomorrow, then the whole thing will air tomorrow night on ’20/20′ at 10pm Eastern. It has all the makings of a classic power struggle, but whose side are you on?….

Charlie Sheen questions Obama about 9/11
despite AIPAC controlled media censorship.
Mel Gibson does not play dumb about 9/11 either.
