Charlie Sheen set to go on 20/20 Monday to prove that he’s 100 percent clean
(HMG Celebrity News) – I saw an interview where Dr. Drew was assessing Charlie Sheen’s recent behavior and among the many interesting things he had to say that stuck with me the most is that Charlie is in a maniac state right now and that once people in his condition do get into rehab (providing they live to do so) they become very angry at the people in their lives that don’t step up to try to stop them while they continue to embarrass themselves. CBS pulled the plug on Two and a Half Men after Sheen took a vacation to the Bahamas with his latest harem, and gave an interview on the Alex Jones Show in which he ranted at show creator Chuck Lorre. Obviously Charlie is not listening to the advice of his reps or anyone else for that matter and ABC says he will be appearing on a special one-hour edition of 20/20 on March 1, being billed as “The Charlie Sheen Interview.” Portions of the interview will air on Good Morning America on Monday and Tuesday. Charlie maintains he is 100% clean now and after flying back to his Los Angeles mansion from his vacation, he took a home drug test for RadarOnline.com, in an effort to clear his name. The over-the-counter ‘First Check’ urine test, is alleged to be 99 percent accurate for seven illicit drugs and five prescription drugs. These include (illicit) marijuana, cocaine, opiates, methamphetamines, ecstasy, amphetamines, phencyclidine (PCP) and (prescription) tricyclic antidepressants, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone and oxycodone. was actually administered in the presence of an editor and two producers from RadarOnline, to help verify the authenticity of the results. The test can detect marijuana for up to 40 days, phencyclidine up to 14 days and cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy up to four days. The preliminary findings pending a further urine and blood test by a court-certified toxicology laboratory conducted at the star’s Los Angeles mansion Saturday were surprisingly negative. After listening to Charlie ramble on that radio interview so incoherency, if he is really clean right now, maybe all that self medicating was fueled by a serious chemical imbalance such as bipolar disorder like Dr. Drew eluded to? Anyway I kind of feel like this 20/20 interview is probably gonna be a train wreck, but it looks like nobody can stop Charlie and ABC is happy to put him on the air.
