Miley Cyrus bans dad from ‘The View’ for GQ comments

[HMG Celebrity News] – Miley Cyrus and her father are not getting on. Billy Ray Cyrus recently compared the 18-year old actress to Anna Nicole Smith, which caused some problems. Then he said her time on ‘Hannah Montana’ destroyed their family. But he was booked to be on ‘The View’ this week and Miley made him pull out.

“When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear she went nuts,” a friend tells PopEater. “Last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with Barbara. No way would Miley or her team let that happen.”

In August Billy, 49, left the family home in L.A and returned to the peaceful house set among over 100 acres of plush Tennessee land that he bought in the ’90′s during his time in the spotlight. In October he also filed for divorce from Miley’s mom, Tish.

In the GQ conversation he told the magazine he now felt isolated from his family, and especially from Miley. And that started the row.

“I’m scared for her,” he told the reporter. “She’s got a lot of people who are putting her in danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.”

Miley had no idea what Billy Ray would say, and was apparently livid when she heard he’d gone public with the family’s troubles;

“At first Miley defended her dad,,” an insider shares. “She wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but after she found out about his trip to New York no more excuses could be made.”
