Charlie Sheen’s Radio Interview Shows a Man Still In Denial
(HMG Celebrity News) – While Charlie Sheen’s at home drug, porn and alcohol rehabilitation is supposedly going well as he has reportedly passed his drug tests so far, I really wonder about his state of mind.
The test results are reportedly being handed to bosses at Warner Bros. so they can decide when to start shooting Sheen’s hit show again, after his problems forced the cast and crew to take a hiatus.
But Charlie called into The Dan Patrick Show on Monday to discuss baseball, his love life and sobriety with the radio talk show host.
Charlie in a very raspy voice said he is “100%” sober and that he’s “peeing clean.” He added, “I feel great, man. I feel great. I am here and ready… I’m actually hungry.”
But during the bizarre interview, Charlie who was clearly irritated said he was anxious to return to work and explained sort of why he had a raspy voice saying: “I’m going back to work and I was banging on the stage door like, ‘Hello … Where is everybody?’ … I don’t know what happened … I guess they’re closed,” Sheen said.”They said get your act together and I did…. Check it, it’s like I heal really quickly. But I unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys.”
Profound statements like that still have me doubting the validity of Charlie’s at home rehab. Then Charlie allegedly told Dan that he advised the UCLA baseball team last week to stay away from the crack “unless you can manage it socially… If you can manage it socially, then go for it, but not a lot of people can.”
Sheen said there is a morality clause in his contract, but he basically doesn’t take it seriously. He also talked frankly about his on-and-off sobriety. He said he didn’t drink for a long time and was bored out of his mind.
The baseball fan also announced he wants his first tell-all interview to be with Yankees player Nick Swisher.
Charlie also revealed he has a girlfriend but wouldn’t identify her. Is it one of the porn stars he was partying with on his last binge? You can listen to interview for yourself here.
