Prosecutor Talking Tough On Jail Time For Lindsay Lohan – But it Will Only Be Another Slap on Hand
(HMG Celebrity News) – While Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is trying to work out a deal in the grand theft felony charges against her client for stealing a $2,500 necklace, Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers is insisting that any plea bargain for light fingered Lindsay include jail time. A “Lohan insider” tells Radar that Lindsay would risk trial rather than go back to jail. For now, Meyer’s refusal to back down leaves both sides at an impasse. Many are still skeptical though that Lindsay will do jail time for this latest incident, but it is clear to me anyway how ill equipped she still is to handle her own adult affairs, partly because of her lame enabling parents. Mom Dina Lohan looks at this latest incident and tells the world “It’s all good. God has a big plan.” Faith in God is great but a poor excuse for bad parenting. Meanwhile daddy Michael Lohan who can’t get enough of the spotlight is now blaming Lindsay’s managers for all the controversy in her life. He insists that if Lou Taylor and Larry Rudolph (who has turned around Britney Spear’s career) weren’t handling her affairs, she’d be in a lot less trouble. He explains to Radar:
“A lot of the controversy in Lindsay’s life wouldn’t be there if Lou Taylor and Larry Rudolph weren’t part of the equation. They are both one-hit wonders with Britney Spears, and they are not going to do the same to my daughter.”
Michael then goes on to say that I know directly from Lindsay that she did not steal the necklace. Anyway for all the publicity this has generated and the tax payer dollars that are being spent, speculation is the DA only wants 60 to 90 days behind bars for Lindsay — time that would not be served in state prison.
