Thank God – Egyptian President Mubarak stepped down

(HMG Celebrity News) – After bitterly disappointing hundreds of thousands of demonstrators yesterday, anger has turned into jubilation in Tahrir Square as vice president Omar Suleiman announced that Egyptian President Mubarak has resigned and called on the army to “run the affairs of the country.” A wild celebration is now underway among protesters across the country who had demanded his ouster for the last 18 days, after 30 years of authoritarian rule. The 82-year-old president left the presidential palace in Cairo earlier today as protesters kept the pressure on the government to force Mubarak out of office.
