(HMG Celebrity News) -  Olivia Wilde, who has starred as Dr. Remy Hadley on FOX hit ‘House’ since 2007, is separating from her filmmaker husband, Tao Ruspoli, PEOPLE reports.

The 26-year-old ‘Tron: Legacy’ actress married 35-year-old Ruspoli, an Italian prince, on a schoolbus in Virginia when she was still in her teens.

Insiders claim one of the reasons why they split was Wilde felt she settled down too young, and they’ve just grown in different directions.”

Not coincidentally Wilde’s career has really caught fire and she stars next with Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde,  in ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’ next.   The film focuses on a wild frontier in the 1800′s that just so happens to get invaded by aliens.

An insider told Usmagazine: “They have been separated for a while. It was Olivia’s decision… for the typical Hollywood reasons.

“Her career has exploded and she saw being married is not as much fun. She feels she missed out on being single getting married so young, and wants to sow her wild oats.”

Her estranged husband, meanwhile, “is heartbroken and really wanted to stay together.”
