Lindsay Lohan Totally Lied About Being in Jewelry Store Until Confronted With The Facts?

(HMG Celebrity News) – While Lindsay Lohan whines about being an easy target, and her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley  “vehemently” denies that the actress stole a necklace from a Venice, California, jewelry store, there is another story that makes you wonder about her credibility.  Kamofie & Co. reported the necklace stolen on Jan. 22, roughly three weeks after Lohan was released from three months of court-ordered rehab at the Betty Ford Center.  Police obtained a search warrant Tuesday to try to retrieve the necklace from Lohan’s house, but according to RadarOnline, Lindsay saw the story and the jewelry was turned in to detectives before the warrant could be executed.  And apparently before the “necklace was loaned to Lindsay alibi” was hatched (if you believe Radar), Lindsay totally denied ever being in the jewelry store:

“She told advisers close to her that she was never in Kamofie & Company, the jewelry store that she allegedly stole the necklace from. When it was pointed out to Lindsay that there was surveillance video of her in the store, the denials stopped.”

Radar and TMZ both have indicated in past stories that Lindsay actually has been in the store multiple times.  Radar sources claim “People in Lindsay’s inner circle say she lies all of the time,” but the jewelry store lie surprised even those very close to her.”

I don’t know why they would be surprised given even her recent history that includes denials about using drugs until she tested positive for cocaine.  Which lead to her stay in the Betty Ford Center, until she allegedly tried to sneak out one night and got caught. Which reportedly lead to a confrontation with a nurse who tried to test her and wanted to initially press charges.  You would think her inner circle would be pretty much not surprised by anything she does anymore?
