Charlie Sheen blows a fuse when Dad suggests detox

[HMG Celebrity News] – His recent, and rather unusual vacation in Las Vegas brought Charlie Sheen a great deal of attention for some of his habits. But reports say when a close advisor suggested he did detox to break free of the habit, Chuck hit the roof.

“Charlie was told by a trusted adviser he needed to detox for at least 90-days before he could even begin to deal with his addictions,” a source shares. “Charlie’s father, Martin was there and encouraged him to take the advice, but Charlie brushed it off.”

Since he stopped work on ‘Two and a Half Men’ Charlie has been in seclusion at his mansion in Beverly Hills. Martin has also been there frequently, but he’s been unable to convince Charlie of the need to get clean;

“Charlie was told he needed to detox for at least 90-days because of his long term drug use,” says the snitch. “He was disgusted and told the adviser he just needed to get back to work and everything will be fine.”

The spy also claims Charlie told the adviser: “I hope to be back at work by the end of February, at the latest.”

Insiders say Charlie, 45, is in complete denial over the scale of his problem, and its potential fallout, and has repeatedly refused to do detox or rehab to get clean. They also say he’s lost weight, but “nothing shocking.”

And the sheer scale of denial can be seen in his recent text message to Radar;

“I’m fine,” he typed: “People don’t seem to get it…Guy can’t have a great time and also do his job?”

In another – and quite possibly baseless – report, some of Charlie’s recent female companions are claiming he’s talking about releasing his own line of porn films called ‘Charlie’s Devils.’ They even claim he’s created a pilot.

The guest list for a party last week at the home of Chuck’s friend, George Santo Pietro included three porn stars, and they claim Charlie’s alleged fondness for drugs has cost him most of his teeth, which have been replaced with false teeth made of gold. He then wears fake white veneers to hide them when he’s on set.

After three days of non-stop celebration Charlie wound up in the hospital, then in rehab – again. Look at the picture via TMZ.com, then you decide – Is this a sane idea for a lifestyle, or is detox now his only way to survive?….
