Charlie Sheen Taken By Ambulance to Hospital

(HMG Celebrity News) – This is a headline that I unfortunately expected to have to write sooner or later. Charlie Sheen was just rushed to the hospital with severe abdominal pains, taken out of his home on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance at 7 AM this morning. TMZ says that at the same time Charlie was taken out with a towel partially over his face, two young women exited the house. Let’s just hope this is something minor, but with Charlie’s recent escapades, one pictures a night of heavy partying. We’ll update soon.

Update: According to TMZ, Charlie is being treated for a  hiatal hernia, which can allow food and acid to back up into your esophagus, leading to heartburn and chest pain. Self-care measures or medications can usually relieve these symptoms, although a very large hiatal hernia sometimes requires surgery.  According to a source inside the house (likely one of his party girls), after hours of drinking during the 36 hour bender Charlie was on, a briefcase full of cocaine was delivered to his home.  TMZ’s source inside source says Charlie began doing the drug for several hours.  On the one hand I am glad for Charlie, if this trip to the hospital was only caused by a hiatal hernia.  But I am also concerned this may not be a strong enough wake up call for him to stop before he kills himself.
