Prosecutors Reportedly Set to Charge Mel Gibson

(HMG Celebrity News) -  RadarOnline is reporting that prosecutors are ready to file criminal charges against  Mel Gibson for hitting Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his daughter.

Gibson’s high-powered criminal lawyer Blair Berk was reportedly granted a  last-ditch meeting late Tuesday afternoon with the Los Angeles District Attorney, as she she sought to persuade authorities not to charge the actor.

While Berk made her last ditch bid, sources with supposedly  intimate knowledge of the situation, said the District Attorney has a very strong case, and there is a lot of information that the public and Mel Gibson are unaware that the DA has.

The Oscar-winning actor/director, is reportedly facing a charge of domestic violence – corporal injury involving a former cohabitant which can be prosecuted as a felony or misdemeanor.
