[HMG Celebrity News] – In the latest installment of one of the oddest stories this site’s ever covered, ‘Sister Wives’ star, Kody Brown and his four wives are now planning a move to Nevada to find new ways to support their growing family.

Since the show debuted on TLC in September last year, Kody, his four wives and their combined 19 children have faced the prospect of federal charges for their living arrangements. Brown says he’s only legally married to one wife and the others are spiritual unions, but authorities in their current hometown of Lehi, Utah have been making life hard.

The day after the show’s debut on September 26, Utah police began a bigamy investigation. But while not dismissing the prospect of criminal charges, the Utah Attorney General has since made it clear they simply don’t have the means to prosecute unless a serious crime like child trafficking is suspected. With the Browns it is not.

Their attorney, MSNBC’s legal analyst Jonathan Turley tells TMZ that neither Kody nor any one of his wives has so far been presented with a single charge stemming from the AG’s investigation.

But Kody’s not waiting around – He and his entourage are moving to Nevada to “explore new job opportunities.” And the laws there should make life a lot easier – Cohabitation between a man and several unlicensed ‘wives’ is not even seen as a crime.

As for timing, sources say the family should be loading the U-Hauls and heading west to begin their new life in the next few days.

And you can count on the entire voyage being covered on the new season of ‘Sister Wives’ – which this move just made possible. Not that that’s why they’re doing it, of course.

What do you think, guys – Is Nevada the answer, or do you think the Attorney might have missed something? Let’s hear your views on this…
