Jennifer Aniston dumps the ‘ugly’ Rachel haircut for good

[HMG Celebrity News] – Friends is one of the most popular sitcoms NBC ever made. Thousands of women proudly copied Jenifer Aniston’s hairstyle, but Jennifer now claims she hates it.

“There have been moments I’d rather not relive that whole ‘Rachel’ thing,” the 41-year old actress tells Allure. “I love Chris McMillan [her hairstylist], and he’s the bane of my existence, because he started that. I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen!”

Her new style may be laid-back, but Jennifer also claims she’s willing to test her limits to get the right look for a role;

“I’ve been glammed up; I’ve been glammed down, which is really more me,” she confides. “I didn’t wear mascara in my new movie. It’s fun to transform a bit — what do I have to lose?”

Certainly not a vibrant career.

Aside from the waves of attention caused by that notorious ‘do, Aniston’s love-life has also been prime fodder for the less fabulous blogs. But Jen prefers to talk about reality romance; Especially ABC’s ‘The Bachelor.’

“I was mesmerized by how these girls meet this guy, they have three dates together or something, and they’re weeping as though they’ve just lost the love of their life,” she shares. “I don’t understand that.”

Away from the lights and the cameras Jennifer also prides herself on her skills as a party planner – and especially at mixing drinks. Her best one? Bloody Marys. But she admits she’s no foodie;

“My friends and I were in a restaurant in Atlanta, and one of them is ordering sweetbreads with foie gras, and buffalo tortellini and I’m thinking, ‘This just doesn’t do it for me.’ What I’ve just started to really love lately is Brussels sprouts. The ones there  were sliced and sautéed and really yummy. I’m going to make that.”

So with that haircut now abandoned, how does she feel with her new, more downbeat look?

“I’m actually happy in goofdom,” she tells the scribes. “Not taking myself seriously is one of my favorite things to do, because I don’t. Ever.”
