Sarah Michelle Gellar Returning to TV to Star in Ringer

(HMG Celebrity News) – Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar has a new TV series, and she’s facing some double trouble. CBS has greenlighted Ringer, written by Supernatural writer-producers Eric Charmelo & Nicole Snyder, which centers on a troubled young woman played by Gellar who while on the run from the mob, hides out pretending to be her wealthy twin sister, until she learns that her twin’s life has a bounty on it as well. Gellar will serve as a co-executive producer on the project, which is her first TV show since Buffy left the air in 2003.
