Melissa Etheridge finds love with ex-partner’s best friend

[HMG Celebrity News] – When Melissa Etheridge and her partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels broke up on April 15 of last year, many folks said Melissa would easily find new love. And she has – with Tammy’s best friend, Linda Wallem.

The 49-year old double-Grammy winner who ‘came out’ way back in 1993 is said to be enjoying a ‘hot and heavy’ connection with Linda Wallem, a Hollywood producer and one of the creative minds behind Showtime’s medical comedy ‘Nurse Jackie,’ according to sources;

“Linda’s been talking constantly on the set about how she and Melissa are in love and in a committed relationship,” the insider said.

The new couple have known each other for years – Linda was Tammy’s best friend and a major player at the former pair’s wedding at Dick Clark’s estate in Malibu on September 20th, 2003.

“In lesbian terms, Linda was the ‘best lady,’” the friend told the Enquirer. “Now she’s taken Tammy’s place.”

And at this point you might already see the oncoming storm – While they were together Melissa and Tammy had two children – a daughter, Johnnie Rose and a son, Miller Steven. Both born on October 17th of 2006.

And once Tammy sees she’s been traded in you can count on another round of very public debates about child and spousal support.
