Dog Whispering Gone Bad – Martha Stewart’s Beloved Dog Sends Her To The ER

(HMG Celebrity News) – This is no dog bites man incident, but it is a dog whispering story that didn’t go well.   Martha Stewart was heading out of her house and  leaned down to “whisper goodbye” to her little French bulldog, Francesca, which unfortunately surprised the unsuspecting snoozing pooch.   Startled Francesca bolted upright with such force that she hit Martha in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent’s face,” Martha wrote on her personal blog.

“I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back,” Martha continued. “I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip.”

Martha noted that her four-legged pal “was as upset” as she was, and after the incident went and “cowered in her bed.”

The bump, however, had actually resulted in what Martha called “a pretty serious gash.”  The life style queen needed nine stitches to close up a wound on her upper lip.

Quick thinking Martha, documented her ER trip with photos, and drafted in her daughter, Alexis, to get a plastic surgeon down to the emergency room, as she rode down to Northern Westchester Hospital among “the falling snow.”

Martha closes her blog post with a thanks to the medics who helped stitch her up: “Thanks to the hospital staff for their prompt and professional attention and of course, thank you, Dr. Nolan!”
