Golden-voiced Sensation Ted Williams to Enter Rehab for Drugs & Alcohol

(HMG Celebrity News) – I had this feeling things were not going to go quite as people hoped when homeless man Ted Williams was turned into an overnight sensation. I wondered how whatever had driven the “golden-voiced” 53-year-old man into living on the streets had suddenly changed. The troubled man has a rap sheet that includes theft, robbery, and forgery. And apparently the demons of drug and alcohol dependency that helped ruin Ted’s life are still lingering as he has reportedly still been drinking daily, despite his adamant claims of sobriety. After a “lengthy one-on-one conversation.” during taping for the “Dr. Phil Show” today, Ted agreed to go into rehab. The news comes just two days after the LAPD detained him over a verbal altercation with his daughter at a Hollywood hotel. No word on whether his new employers will stick with him. I don’t for a moment begrudge Ted for being given a second change because he has such an obvious gift. I just hate thinking about all those other people on the streets that are almost totally ignored because their gifts are not so obvious to exploit.
