Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes May Skip Oscars Because of Anne Hathaway betrayal?
(HMG Celebrity News) – Much adieu about nothing? Anne Hathaway’s ‘SNL’ impression of Katie Holmes supposedly hit a nerve. Hathaway, this year’s 83rd Academy Awards co-host with James Franco, spoofed Holmes in a November episode of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and allegedly Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may boycott next month’s Oscars ceremony because they don’t want an awkward red carpet confrontation with her.
The Daily Mail quotes a source saying that Holmes and Cruise felt betrayed, and don’t want to have to cross paths with Anne:
‘They used to be friends and took Anne to a Tina Turner concert in 2008 when Anne split up from her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.
‘Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her.
‘Anne didn’t even warn her it was going to be on TV.’
Do you really think Tom and Katie are that sensitive, and would even know about Anne’s appearance on SNL? In any case, I would be very surprised if Tom and Katie skip the Oscars over this.
Yeah- that would be pretty ridiculous. It’s all in good fun anyways. They shouldn’t take it that seriously.
Little backstabber that ms Hathaway. With friends like that you’ll don’t need any enemies. But if Katie Holmes wins the oscar, she could humiliate her on the Oscarnight, that would be good!
